Why I Started RAV80 Media and why it matters.

RAV80 Media is not a departure from my career. It is an evolution of it — built from data, structure, markets, media, and the belief that better frameworks create better decisions.

For nearly two decades, I worked in digital marketing and media strategy helping Fortune 500 brands navigate growth through data, technology, and performance-driven decision making.

Most people outside the industry think media is simply about buying ads.

In reality, the work was much deeper than that.

Over the course of 17 years on the agency side, I worked across performance media, paid social, analytics, forecasting, investment optimization, portfolio allocation, team leadership, and digital transformation initiatives. I learned how to approach business problems structurally — not emotionally.

That discipline became a major part of who I am.

When Life Shifted

Then in October of 2022, life shifted unexpectedly.

After years in the corporate world, I was laid off from my long-standing career.

In many ways, I was probably burned out already. But like many people who go through a major professional transition, I suddenly found myself reevaluating not only my career, but my identity.

Around that same time, I had developed a deep fascination with the financial markets.

What initially drew me in was not the idea of quick money or hype.

It was structure.

The deeper I went, the more I realized something important:

The same analytical mindset I developed in corporate media strategy applied directly to markets.

At their core, both worlds revolve around interpretation, probability, structure, optimization, and decision making under uncertainty.

That realization became the foundation for RAV80 Trades.

Why RAV80 Media Became the Parent Platform

But I also knew I did not want to abandon the 20 years of experience I had already built.

Because at the end of the day, data does not just drive trading decisions.

Data drives business decisions.

That idea became the foundation for RAV80 Media.

The Lesson of Ownership

One of the biggest lessons I learned during this transition had nothing to do with markets or media.

It was about ownership.

When you spend years inside large organizations, it is easy to believe stability comes primarily from titles, companies, or networks. And while I remain grateful for many of the people, experiences, and opportunities throughout my career, the transition also taught me the importance of building something that is truly your own.

Some people offered guidance. Some opened doors. Some made time.

Others moved on quickly as life and business evolved.

Over time, I stopped viewing that negatively.

Instead, it pushed me toward something more meaningful: building systems, communities, and frameworks centered around long-term value creation.

Not just a business. Not just a Discord. Not just a consulting practice.

But an ecosystem built around education, structure, transparency, and adaptability.

That is what RAV80 Media represents to me.

Today, RAV80 Media continues to evolve as a dual-path platform: one focused on trading education and market structure, and another focused on helping businesses navigate growth through data, analytics, optimization, and modern digital strategy.
